Life update:

I'm married to the lovely ectasia, I work at The Art Institute of Chicago, and I honestly haven't been this satisfied with my life, ever. I only wish I had a few more friends so I didn't spend most nights in front of the TV, but I'm working on that, I guess...2010 was a good year, I made some pretty momentous changes...

So...I'm back! Again! Yay!

I'll write a real update and edit my profile and stuff tomorrow or something, but hi again SG friends!!!

I'm pretty sure I got this account reactivated via a random reactivation disquised as a "gift from a friend." But, that's fine. I'm just happy to be back. Some nice sets up recently, like this one!

In other news, um...I still don't work enough hours at my job to pay the bills. So, I've been sending out emails and doing online applications quite a bit....

Welp...I'm back! I have no idea who gave me a 3 month gift account, but whoever it was, THANKS! I've been wanting to get back on here for a while now.

So...uh...I live in Chicago now. Things are great.

Although, I did just get fired last week from a temp position I was working. But, I hated that place anyways, and would way rather work...

sucks about the job, but at least your other part time job sounds fun

A lot has happened. And I don't want to think about it anymore. I'm sick of feeling it everyday. It's better when I'm in Chicago, and I know it's better for us when I'm here.

To that end, I'm not going back to school next semester. I realize how ridiculous that is, being that I only have "one year" left. But, honestly, there are a...

I am taking the zero response to my email about interning for No Idea to mean they don't want me to drop out and move to Gainesville. And, honestly, I know I'm better off...for now.

I've been 26 for about a month now. But, a friend of mine has been 25 for something like 6 years now. I figure I have plenty of time left...

Sometimes I hate the fact that I have like five blogs, cause I never update any of them.

So, riddle me this Batman...

Let's pretend for a second you consider yourself an artist, or would like to anyway (bonus points if you ARE). You are still struggling through school to get a degree that is literally just a piece of a paper, and will have...

I usually go with my gut. And if I'm not happy in a situation and something sounds like it's fulfilling (and not a quick escape), I generally go for it. That's how I ended up in Chicago, which was imperative to my growth and fulfillment. And that is why I'm going to Amsterdam next fall.

Gainesville is interesting. I had a lady-friend who went to the community college down there for zoo tech program. 'Taint my up of tea, but diff'rent strokes!

Wow. Its been a while, huh? Lets bring this thing up to speed...

The Fest was amazing. Easily the most fun I've ever had in my life. I have a million great stories, but honestly, if you want to know what it was like, go to YouTube and search "Fest 7." Peep the video of Paint it Black playing in the back of a U-Haul...

I am more or less all moved in to my new place.

Kind of strange living with people who aren't ectasia again though. I came home yesterday to find two strangers and three new cats just hanging out, playing super mario...friends of Henry's I guess.

Whatever, we watched Hackers again last night...so 90's it huuuuuuurts!

I guess that's it.

OH! Except that one of my...

Her: You know, even though I think your brain tries to get in the way, you really belong in school forever.
Me: Yeah...but, what does a lifetime student DO?
Her: They teach.

So, there's that...

I've been giving seriously thought to going to grad school, at UWM, after I get my BFA. I don't know what it is, but I just don't like the outside...

Ok. So. When I get my excess check from financial aid this year, there are several things I must do with that money...

-Rent for the semester.
-Final Cut Pro.
-An HD Video Camera (most likely Canon XG-A1.)
-Buy bike parts to finish the Narwhal and Walden.

But, I'm thinking after that, I'll probably have somewhere between $500 and $1500 left over. Here is my...
