[Stood on the very top of the parkade on Yates with the wind blowing all around us. The clouds look so different from such great heights. Under a nearly apocalyptic sky, I almost burnt a hole through my skirt as it flirted with the slow, soft suicide resting in my right hand.
Watched the rain come in over the inner harbour and oh my, I'm going to have to say goodbye soon, goodbye to this boy who has talked shit about the right people at the right times in my life, this boy who has known exactly what to say and that sometimes there just aren't words to make it any better, this boy who will smoke and drink with me until our brains and hearts fall out of our throats.
In the past few months, we have perfected the art of the platonic friendship. We have no drama, no stress, no chokingly miserable insanity. Although we are both a little bit broken at times, we fit well together and can recognize that sometimes, there are no answers to the situations and people that hurt us the most. We recognize the power structures inherent in the relationships that we both participate in and observe, and while it repulses us, still we press on. It's worth everything.
I know that it's going to be awful when we say goodbye, but, well, such is life. Arms around eachother and moments later, a simple footprint on a rented gas pedal. You were half of my backbone for these past few months, my dear. I want nothing, absolutely nothing, but the best for you. You mean so much.
linger on, your pale blue eyes]
Now everyone- go see Sin City, please. I watched it last night and goddamn, it was amazing. So amazing, in fact, that I'm going to see it again tonight. I may be broke.. but.. I.. don't need groceries, I don't think. Cigarettes and fuzzy peaches are an excellent substitute for actual meals, correct? Healthy and well-balanced?
For the first time in a long while, I have absolutely nothing to do tomorrow. No obligations. It's going to be beautiful. I'm going to sit around my house and watch the rest of the first season of Arrested Development. Anyone care to join me? Heh.
i love you simply, without complexities or pride.

this sounds like me trying to justify eating massive amounts of KD and other res-food substitutes.
I should glow orange
I'll take your word for it and go see it. You are the only person I know praising it, hence the taking your word part.
