this is literally the best homework ever cause I totally love super heroes and shit! I totally struggled with this one, because there are so many draw backs and amazing powers you could have! the imagination is the limitless!
I have TWO answers for this one @missy one more practical and the other just super!
My ideal Practical superpower was a toss up between either the ability to see how to fix things or the ability to control anything electrical (like this spunk from heroes)
after my car breaking down three times and the money Im about to drop on fixing it it would be amazing to just be able to fix/make it work myself! Not only that my laptop would work and Id be able to writ you guys blogs all the time!!!!!!
I could fix the grinder and coffee machine at work and always make the perfect coffee for all my lovely regulars. the power/heater/dishwasher/garbage disposal in my house would run perfectly. it would be magically!
CONS of course if your a superhero I assume that you have to have a limitation in your life! I imagine that if I can make anything that runs an electrical current through it that I would be able to work anything that ran without an electrical current, like those watches that you wind every morning or a gas stove(?) ahaha I dont foresee that as a huge problem currently but hey! I wouldn't know until I was faced with it as a problem! I suppose Magnets would be a huge problem for me!
If I could fix everything it would definitely have the same applications as above, but I wouldn't be restricted to things that have an electrical current! I could fix peoples physical ailments like a GOD and save many peoples lives which could be nifty, I would own a little antiques repair shop an were huge spectacles with my cats running around and if they knocked stuff over if would be fine because I could fix it!!!
CONS I imagine that if I can understand how fix everything that my limitation would be how to understand people! I would probably be a bitter spinster recluse that doesn't want to help fix peoples physical ailments because I dont understand them! I already struggle with some peoples emotions, I dont respond appropriately when people die and I dont know how to comfort crying people. so I just imagine I wont understand peoples excitement or disappointment either. And that seems a really big limitation to life!
if I had a superhero super power it would be either the ability to mimic peoples appearance and voice like Mystique (serious blue babe alert)
or Changling or Morph! the ability to have pretty much 100% anonymity would be pretty swell, but you could also manipulate thing into your favour or others favours just by being able to shapeshift into the right person! you could get into anywhere or anything! so kick arse but not a power that is to strong so fights would still be a worthy and balanced. and you would still have to learn an individuals mannerisms to really pull off a project.
or I would have the ability to learn things that ive seen once like Monica Dawson from Heroes!
if I had this power! omgosh the things I would do I would be a kickarse fighter, have set up my own business, be a master at yoga! what a super power! you could literally learn to do anything! If I had this power I would be literate in English, French, Spanish, and Laotian. I would be an excellent lingerie designer for women dd+, I would build my own house, and cook elaborate meals fresh from my own homegrown garden, I would be able to teach self defense and be a superhero that could disarm a bad guy super quick with my bare hands! then KO him for the police to pick up!
