Work was good today. I finally got caught up, and perhaps even a bit ahead. But I did get yelled at by some whiny baby of a customer. He called down the thunder, and now he's gonna get it!
I ended up having to help out my old department for a while since one of the guys has apparently disappeared off the face of the earth. His girlfriend even called looking for him. Eek. I hope he's okay, but in the meantime it was obnoxious that I had to spend my time there, and apologize profusely for someone elses mistake in the process.
I just got back from the Bucktown Art Fest, where a few of my friends were showing their junk. Too many people there, though, so I only ended up findint one of them. She happens to be the girl from work whom I had a crush on until I decided it was a better idea to have a crush on a customer instead. Anyway, her paintings were really good, but it's hard to pay attention to them when she's dressed for sitting outside in warm weather. And that's all I'm gonna say about that!
Tonight of course is the Epoxies and Returnables!
There are a bunch of movies that I want to see this week, and I haven't even had a chance to look into the Chicago Underground Film Festival. It sucks, because a couple of weeks ago I wanted to go out to a film, but I couldn't find anything worth my time. With an abundance of appealing options, I would normally hate to go to a bar for a movie projected from video....but Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine just may prove impossible to pass up!
