Drag show is going to be a drag.

Disappointed and don't know what to do. Two years ago my wife and I went to a drag show. We had never been to one, but we had a blast! Very entertaining. We could only stay 2 hours because we had to get back to the kids. Missed last year, but now this year we wanted to have a sitter for the kids and make it a date night.

Just so happens it's the same weekend my brother in law's fiance is going to travel to Green Bay to shop for a wedding dress. ARG!!!! Wife is going along, which is no problem and I encourage her to go since it's going to be her brother's only wedding (hopefully). I hate to get a sitter for the kids and go without her but I was really looking forward to going this year.

Sometimes things just don't work out I guess. I think I'll take the kids sledding instead. Maybe take them to a movie at the theatre for a treat.

It sounds like you are such a great husband and father! There is always next year! Plus there is always the SuicideGirls Burlesque! Not so much a drag show, but still a good time!!! Does the local collages have drag shows? Mine did. So much fun!

I try to be the best father and husband I can be, but I'll be honest and say I'm not perfect. My goal in life is to have my two children state at my funeral that they love me and are proud of me. I'd love to see the SG burlesque show but it's not near my area. There is a local burlesque movement that might turn into a show coming soon that I'm excited about. I've heard great things about burlesque but never saw a show. It's definitely on my bucket list.
