Two recurring daydreams and fantasies:
1) A plain white room: I have this vision of a plain white room with a really soft white carpet and a plain white couch. No other furniture. Soft, sinking, worn in but not old. Nothing on the floor, well lit, but dark enough to visibly feel the sun coming in from the windows. Definitely TV, videogames, anything simple and entertaining. Nothing deep. Nothing complicated. Probably one of those thin TV's and preferably no visible wires. No clutter. On TV- nothing thought-provoking but nothing too dumb- remember: entertaining, satisfying. Perfect room warmth. Blankets, pillows, cats, warmth from the sunlight, cookies, milk, ice water. No emotion, no thoughts, just satiation of desires without clutter or question marks.
2) Car crash: Walking through parking lots, which I have been doing a lot these days, I keep almost getting hit by cars. At first I was afraid- for obvious reasons of course. "Wow, I could've just gotten hit." However, with the passing of time and the increasing frequency of these encounters, I have started to anticipate. Every time the back of a bright red pickup truck nearly hits my bike tire I am disappointed. Every time there is a quick screech of brakes or the high pitched sound of a car coming to a halt, I wonder what it would feel like. I don't want any broken bones or internal bleeding or anything like that. Just to be knocked over. Hurt but not too bad. Nothing that requires telling a story later or explaining or any further connection to being hit beyond the actual experience of being hit itself. So fun. So blunt.
Oh, and I'm trying to post more. huzzah!
