I just realized I never mentioned that I got offered a lateral move at work a few weeks ago. Same pay. MUCH better working conditions. I'm dealing with commercial customers now. I'm in a different area of the office, different union and much more relaxed work atmosphere.

My new coworkers seem like a tightknit but decent bunch. I've been sucked into bringing homemade holubtsi to a work potluck next week. This may not seem like anything notable, but it is. In my old position I tried to keep it congenial but distant. It's odd for me to care about doing anything with my coworkers. I guess that's positive evolution in some ways, eh?

In other news, the city just got a massive dumping of snow. I've not had a driving lesson in several weeks due to my sister's wedding, my trip and general lack of cash. It looks like my next lesson's going to be on ice and snow. Wish me luck.
