So a fairly laidback weekend.
My mom came over on Saturday night and we went out yesterday evening for Indian food for her birthday.
I gamed on Saturday. Yes, the first gaming session since we went on break for my gm's trip to LA Worldcon near the beginning of August, an entire month-long drought of no dice rolling. It felt great to be back. Speaking of games, we watched Silent Hill afterwards and I trashtalked my way through it. What the hell were Sean Bean and Deborah Kara Unger doing in that monstrosity? And for that matter, what about Laurie Holden of X Files fame? What a waste.
I realized at the conclusion of the movie that I was the only one who actually thought the movie licked donkeybag. I felt like quite the asshole for (likely) ruining everyone else's viewing experience. Ah well.
