Yesterday I went my first day in remembered history without coffee. Stomach/chest still feels a little tricky. I made some weak coffee today. I'm not sure if I'll drink it.

I agree with you about assessing the lay of the land before you plunder it. I think it is essential to to garner the inclination, the movement, and the scent of a body before considering entangling with it.

Some time ago, I cut down to two cups a day and have found it pretty easy to stick with that. If only I could say the same for booze. And cigarettes.
