I was listening to cat music just now (The Black Keys: Rowr rowrrrrr Rowr ROWR ROWR ROWR), and sorta killing time until I can go downstairs and have a free washing machine.

After that I'm off to buy shorts, superglue (I broke two things this week), fluorescent tubes and flowerpots.

The UV index is high today. I went out and bought some spf45 sunscreen, and I've coated myself in it, hoping that I can get a safe walk in. It's been so hazy. I seem to burn worse when it's hazy.

I had a really good talk with surly last night. I've never had someone who sees me at my worst and calls me on it in a loving way. Actually surly usually makes me laugh at my own foibles.

I'm listening to Current 93's Nature Unveiled. I have two Current 93s and practically the whole Swans catalogue sitting on my bookshelf. I borrowed them from my friend T about two years ago and I've never gotten around to returning them. Well, that's not *entirely* true. I've tried a few times but T is as flitty as I am. I should make a real effort to give them back to him, along with his riding crop, leather bondage collar and soccer socks. Don't ask.
