Finally got my basement rented so the cash crunch is, well, not as
crunchy. Now I have to delve into the Residential Tenancies Act and several
other documents to get on top of my responsibilities, rights, processes
etc. Started climbing again too which feels good. Hopefully that will last.
Took Mooji on Sunday. Priceless. My little three year old in a harness so
big the buckles come up under her jaw when it's fully adjusted putting her
neck in traction when she's not holding on, LOL. Still, she managed to get
6 feet off the ground three times and came down smiling and exuberant each
time. She wakes up every morning and points to the hole in the ceiling and
says, "pider care me." (the spider is scared of me). This is the same hole
we had to check every night for two weeks to see if the spider was there
until I convinced her it was scared of her and wouldn't come out. And then
yesterday Thera called me at 10:30am to tell me they'd had an adventure.
She was breathing heavy and it sounded like she had been outside. They had
been in the shower. Mooji can pretty much undress herself now so Thera
climbed in ahead of her. When she didn't hear anything after a while, she
called out, "Mooji what are you doing?" Mooji whips the curtain open, holds
her hand up to Thera's leant over face and says, "pooh! Guess what was in
the hand. Subsequently they were headed upstairs to get dressed. Mooji stalled on
the stairs and Thera was foolish enough to ask again, "Mooji, what are you
doing?" Same answer only this time there was a big log on the stairs with a
footprint in it. Mooji is her father's daughter when it comes to symmetry
and there, right in front of her horrified mother, Mooji put a matching and
opposite footprint in the log (at least she didn't pee on it). This morning
however she poohed in the toilet and helped herself to a big treat.
Progress?
