Well what better way to spend your saturday night than sitting about eating cheese and drinking wine ? ..ok don't answer that . Im pleasantly chilled out though.
Anyway we're a week into the brand spanking new year now and I have managed to keep most of my resolutions so far .. i've slagged off someone behind there back and messed up my getting exercise thing already ..apart from that im not so bad.
So anyway -
*Todays been rather good , i've been over my mates working on some tunes and singing the covers we have chosen to start with . Didn't go so badly at all .. we know the exact sound we're aiming for ..and we have a name now ..which I won't say because it'll probably end up getting changed.
Also watched American Splendor ..which is a fantastic film ... totally struck a chord .. melancholic music obsessed file clerk documenting his life in a comic book . Totally fresh and original ..loved it.
*Got some other new films in the sales.. 28 Days Later , Ginger Snaps , The Shining , Species , Big Fish and LOTR-Return Of The King.
I think i'll become a bit of a hermit till I get through those and all the books I have piled up.
*The following bands are shit - Razorlight , The Zutons , Keane
, The Kings Of Leon , Maroon 5 and The Thrills.
Come on new bands impress me ...THIS AIN'T GOOD ENOUGH !!!!!
*Sorry random outburst there .. i've had a fair bit of wine today so my brains all over the shop .. so I apologise for the dullness of this entry.
*Doing bugger all tommorow ..avoiding gales and floods and staying in watching films and writing stuff.
*I haven't shaved in quite a few days so I have a nice little beard thing going on ..one of the few benefits of being single I think being able to do stuff like that.
*I really hate the incompetent staff south west trains have employed and the prices of ipod cases.
Ok thats enough ramblings from me I think . Ta-ta.

Oh, and in the list of crap bands? I believe you forgot the crappiest of them all - FREAKIN' Franz Ferdinand. If I hear that stupid "Matinee" song again I will have to sacrifice my radio and chant around it for their untimely demise.
