Well thats another christmas pretty much over and done with and it hasn't been a bad time at all . I started the day with getting down and boogieing to the B-52's , Outkast , Katrina and The Waves amongst other things . We then managed to avoid the television for the whole evening , after the dinner my family just sat about playing word association games and drinking . The subject matter usually ended up getting on to being something toilet related (much to the delight of my poor mother) or Michael Jackson .

And on the present side of things , I got the Bill Bailey live dvd , Tom Waits - Mule Variations and Gwen Stefani's new album , books , choccy and lots of Jack Daniels (I don't know what there trying to say about me there)

And for the rest of the evening im going to continue to avoid the dreaded idiot box and blast some cool tunes out I think.

*Meanwhile back at the ranch , last night was a night of good old fashioned drunken hijinks for my friend Claire's boyfriends birthday ..little sis came along for the ride as well .

Amongst the fun we were pushing each other round town in shopping trolleys , launching into full all singing and dancing renditions of 'this charming man' by The Smiths (complete with the swinging flowers hand) and 'dancing in the dark' by The Boss with complete strangers at the bus stop to ring in christmas day , kicking stuff , pressing our faces up at the door making stupid faces at the people in midnight mass (not proud of that one) , finding the postbox open and nicking a couple of postbags out of it , shouting up at little childrens windows as we walked home ..."Santas not real " ..."he's fake" ... "its all a big sham" (even less proud of that one) . Then we came home and watched Mr Beans christmas episode ..which I was seeing so blurry I had to watch with one eye closed.

An eventful evening

*As for the rest of the festive season , im doing bugger all tommorow .. chrimbo buffet type thing at my uncles on monday ... nothing tuesday and wednesday ...working thursday and half of new years eve ..then meeting up with my buddy's for a house party ... first time in ages doing something good to ring in the new year (who knows maybe that will be a sign of good things to come in 2005).

Hows the festive season been treating everyone else ?

Anyway im going to retire to my quarters so I wish you all a very merry christmas and a kick ass new year whatever your up to .
