Todays been quite a good day , had the place to myself again to potter about and sing my little heart out .I trawled through all my old letters and pictures and stuff for lyrical inspiration ..and i've got quite a bit of writing done .. I can't seem to write about anything happy , its all bleak stuff about the darker side of being in love . But yes it was a productive afternoon , I haven't shown my scrawlings to anyone yet ..that worries me slightly , but hey got to do it sooner or later and get some feedback.
Last night was cool too , Kate came round for a bit of a film night ..we watched 'Shaun Of The Dead' which I enjoyed even more second time round after actually having seen a few episodes of Spaced .. then came the family ending to 'Lethal Weapon 4' .."why can't we be friends" ...and the directors cut of 'Robocop' with extra gore , all washed down with pizza and Mr Jack ..fine evening.
And as for tommorow , I don't know that far ahead as yet.

no we're FAMILY!
about your writing- dont worry about showing people your words.
when i first started out in bands all dem years ago, i always got SO terrified of showing band members my lyrics/songs ect....but after awhile it gets easier and it becomes more about just getting a song 'done'.
dunno if that made sense but there you go.
