Evening dear readers , Ive had the nightmare couple of days from hell 
but they do appear to be over for now.
*The fun began yesterday , getting home to find we had a power cut because some knob cut through the line doing work over the road . So we were without power all of last night and it was still off when I left for work this morning. So no hot shower, going to work smelling , no internet , no DVD ... its amazing how my life grinds to a halt without power
. So last night I just lay on my bed in the dark listening to talk radio on my walkman till I dosed off.
*I get to work without any coffee in me (always bad) snap at gay Charlie ..whose far to happy that early in the morning . Then I get some irate bastard called Mr Penjoni decide that it was my fault he had to wait 2 years for us to do anything about his business rates . I try my best to explain and be helpful but the fucker was just totally unwilling to listen to me ... so I (not my wisest move) bark at him "You should try treating people with a bit of respect " . Mr Penjoni didn't like this and yelled at me "who are you to tell me that ...blah de blah de blah" . Gave me his phone number and demanded I get the manager to call him .
Gah ... everybody focus there hate on Mr Penjoni
*Then I head for home only for a normally 30 minute train journey to take 2 and a quarter hours as the signal box at Earlsfield had been struck by lightning ...when the hell does that happen ? I mean what are the odds ? .
So im now home and unwinding with a beer and contemplating a sicky tommorow.
*Yesterday was slightly better ... well moderately so anyway before the power cut business . Yesterday was my first anniversary at my job , the day probation is over and im an established civil serpent *huzzah* . Its also the day I said I would begin looking around for something more my sort of job ... so my eyes are now officially open.
I've been investigating the working abroad thing , there are a few interesting possibilities but its mainly stuff like picking fruit in Australia for a few months . Ah well its an ongoing project for me .*sigh*
*Yesterday I also did a bad thing at work , Id been bombarded with nutters and people who couldnt talk properly all day ..so this one guy who phones up and baffles the hell out of me I put on hold and then hung up on him. Also the sink blocked so the whole office smelt of sewage all afternoon .
*Its my mission to go to Tokyo next year .. Ive been investigating prices and things and sometime towards the end of next year seems like a do-able time to aim for I think .. gives me time to get back from my travels in November and think about planning the next excursion

*On a totally unrelated matter I watched 'Lost In Translation' , I really loved it.. funny , well acted , visually astounding , great soundtrack and Scarlet Johannsen looking absolutely amazing. 
*I thought I saw Boycie from Only Fools And Horses down my road ..but then again it might not have been .
*According to www.innergeek.us I am apparently 12% geek is that it ?
*Im writing this entry on Tuesday the 3rd in word , I have no idea when Ill get to paste it in as my internet has gone funny adding to the non stop catalogue of shit happening to me so far this week. I thought it would be too easy to have a nice quiet relaxing night chatting to my online chums.
*I think im going to get to my bed now , so Ill bid you all farewell.
