*Ambles into the barrytown (not the welsh one , the super fun happy place in my head where the sun always shines) saloon a tired and weary soldier ready to slip off my boots and hat and down several cold ones.
As I ease my weary bones into my favourite chair in the saloon I am inundated with offers for massages from several fair maidens .
Eager not to disappoint anyone ..I begrudgingly agree to there offers .
As the tension is slowly worked from my body I recount to the fair maidens the grandiose tales of my latest adventures*

* And that was just another posh overly dramatic way of saying , good evening and welcome .
* So yesterday was another night spent in the company of SGUK . Boozing and schmoozing and whatnot . Got to introduce mine and Kate's friend Kat to some of the usual suspects ... she kind of had the wide eyed petrified deer in headlights look to start with but didn't take to long to get into the swing of things.
I do think sometimes how fortunate I am to be a part of SGUK , we can't all get on with everyone due to the sheer number of different sometimes conflicting personalities ..but I have really met so many cool people through the site and its so great to have had the opportunity to do so. Its nice to be a part of something positive
*Mr Sonics gone
*Anyway the rest of the weekend has consisted of - murdering 'bohemian rhapsody' in the karaoke booth (PearlBass and Kate know how much they want everyone to hear it ) , ambling about camden , sweating profusely , eating all manner of junk and watching father ted
Thanks to Kerrie for letting me stay so I didn't have to go and battle the many villains of chessington and have to use the night bus ... your a star
*I have some new reading material -
. Should be an interesting read as im hugely into The Doors at the moment and really know very little about the man.
*I managed to find 'Too Dark Park' by Skinny Puppy ..one of Kinto's recomendations that i've been scouring Londons record shops for . Very fine album indeed
And despite hearing many mixed opinions on it I invested in the 'Lost In Translation' dvd .
Paydays great innit.
*Tommorow is another sunday to myself , where I plan to do very little indeed . As taxing as it will get will be slapping on a bit of sun tan lotion and venturing out back with a few beers to make the most of the good weather.
*Random observation - If they ever do a live action movie of Family Guy .
Michael Moore
Peter Griffin
And that I believe is that for today
----------------------------------------------
*after I have told my tale , I begin to feel sleep washing its way over me , but im jolted awake by the fair maidens taking my hands and leading my up the saloons creaky wooden stairs*
*door slams* Nighty night.
