*I got to do something rare today , not get up till midday on a weekday ..im making the most of this not working lark ...until im back to it on monday
*Im pretty much back on british time now after sleeping a 12 hour solid stretch .. I don't like it though . This country is one of the most depressing places to have to come back too after a week and a half having fun in the sun . It got me down a bit , coming back to such a miserable pessimistic way of life .
I was talking to Kerrie about this last night , there are good and bad points about both england and america but I just genuinelly feel more at home over there . But unless I can talk some american girl into marrying me im pretty much stuck here.
Ok i'll stop my moaning now , its just been a bit of a culture shock being back
*Anyway I saw PJ Harvey last night , despite particularly noticing the muddy sound in brixton academy she was very good , a powerful stage presence and I got to hear 'meet ze monsta' and 'a place called home' .
*I perused the hmv sales and got me:
-Siouxsie and The Banshees / The Scream
-Metallica / Ride The Lightning
-The Cure / Paris
-The Doors / Best Of
-Jimi Hendrix / Electric Ladyland
and something else I don't remember . Good haul I think
*A few things coming up to look forward to - SGUK meet tommorow , I haven't been to one in a while so im rather looking forward to seeing everyone . Then monday is the Skinny Puppy gig which from what I hear of the Paris show is going to rock
*I'll leave you with a pic from my hols , there are plenty to show you in time that don't involve fire arms but im just amazed by the attitude they have to them (one of the badpoints I spoke of) ..anyway night folks.
[Todays Playlist - The Doors / Five To One , The Cure / alt.end , Jimi Hendrix / Gypsy Eyes , Tom Petty / Freefallin']
