I got Faith No More's 'Angel Dust' today and I never realised how blatantly Marilyn Manson ripped off 'Be Aggressive' for 'Mobscene' . Both good songs , but still ..you naughty boy Brian.
Anyway I had a really nice peaceful afternoon today , I left my mobile at home and disappeared off the radar . I went to see 'Monster' which was fantastic stuff , everyones going on about how good Charlize Theron is in that film (and she is) but Christina Ricci is just as good . Its always interested me the evil that we do and what drives us to do it , and you do really feel for someone seeing them dealt a shitty hand all there lives and seeing the measures they get driven to. I recomend it , its a powerful piece of work and says alot about society.
It was strangely theraputic to see it by myself actually , like a total escape from reality . I don't really give a monkeys anymore if this makes me a "loser" either.
Back at the ranch , I had my peepers looked at and I am in need of a pair of specs as im apparently a bit short sighted . Im only to use them for screen work and reading subtitles on foreign films etc. ... sparingly in other words , so my eyes don't become to acustemed to them and get lazy. I found some frames in the bargain basement range that manage to somehow make me look intelligent and cool in a weezer kind of way. *huzzah* . I'll post a picture when I get them next week.

Anyway...
I have no other plans for the rest of the weekend , I have the place to myself tommorow so it might be another putting the heating on full blast and strutting about in the nude kind of day.

Sadly, I've only seen videos because the last time they were supposed to tour in Europe (1992... imagine...), they cancelled the whole tour because Nivek Ogre disappeared shortly before... I was so pissed off, I was going to see them with a friend in Paris, Geneva & probably Berlin... That's why I hardly can wait for that, and honestly I never thought it would happen at all!!!!!!!
