I started today watching the new REM live dvd , and was reminded of two of the most amazing gigs I have ever been too 
.. it was much the same show as the ones I saw . Here is the song 'at my most beautiful' it reminds me of falling in love , it reminds me of certain people and the way I used to feel about them . So its kind of a happy and sad song but I love it all the same:

Meanwhile back at the ranch last night was cool , went to see Kate , Kerrie , Alex and the other blokes band .(thought I should give them a mention as everyone else keeps calling them 'Kates band')
. I was very impressed ..lots of chugga chugga riffage going on there ..I want a cd . I don't think there was anyone of the SG UK folks who wasn't impressed , and if they weren't they were lying.
Bloody long day though having to get up at the unearthly hour of 6:45am each day for work
. It was good to collapse , and from what I can gather not much happened afterwards so I didn't miss much.
Today I been trotting about town doing various stuff - paying off my holiday , getting stuff for mother dearest next week , moving money around and getting stuff for me of course
New purchases - Rancid / Out Come The Wolves , Morrisey/Suedehead -Best Of . New book 'Confessions of a B movie actor ' ..the autobiography of the mighty Bruce Campbell ..can't wait to start reading that . Cheapo videos - 'Rules Of Attraction' , 'X Men 2' , 'City By The Sea' and 'Romeo and Juliet' ...and some new bedding.
Theres a meet going on at the moment , but I think im going to pass on this one as I could do with a break from London . Im sure it will only be a matter of days before I see everyone again.
Im sure theres something else I was going to say ..bah
..I guess im off then.
