The Gallery opening went great. Alot of my friends showed up and I sold 2 pieces. The show will be up for another month so hopefully I'll sell more. If I get any newspaper reviews, I'll post them. Thanks for the support everyone. Now its back to promoting the band........ an art whores work is never done. wink

Where does a hip indie band play when they go to Baltimore? I am trying to book a show around April 22 give or take a day. I couldn't really find anywhere online.

Thanks! I had kind of gathered as much from looking around but sometimes there are some unknown treasures. I'll keep you posted if something works out. There's a good chance I'll wind up being on tour with them so maybe we can meet up then.

As creative reinforcement I must say I like Doorknob better than Song For Jilted Lovers. That not to say the new song is shit, but it does seem to need some touch up's. Hell I downloaded both and Im lovin' the sound just thought I'd throw in two cents worth...

I like your tunes. VAN should list SHELLAC as an influence fo sho. I would say that my only concern is that the songs seem a bit long for what they are doing. It may provide more impact to have smaller nuggets of high energy.
I dig Song for Jilted Lovers alot.

Good luck on your promotion and everything else.
You should think about setting up a MYSPACE page if you haven't already. There are too many Vans on the site and so I wasn't going to sift through to find you.. most are asian girls!

So I'm gonna be in the darkroom all night tonight. I have a meeting with my gallery owner tomorrow to pick the Photo that goes on the postcard. I don't really have too much to go through, so I have to make some more pieces tonight. The thing is that it takes like 4 hours to do one piece, so I'm gonna be hurting tomorrow.........
