can't sleep anymore. i hate it when you get to that odd temperature when throwing a leg outside the comforter won't regulate your body heat and send you back to sleep. took an otc sleep aid and am now waiting for it to take effect...no worries, tommorow is my day off, so i don't care how long i sleep in as a result.


spent the day with my boss yesterday touring my stores. he's a pretty good guy to work for. and the people i lead continue to amaze me in all that they offer me and how much they have welcomed me. we are all going to seattle for a leadership conference in february..i think it's going to be an absolute blast. i love washington, but i hate coming home from there, since southern california is basically the antithesis of how lush it is...curse you sunshine. good thing we have an ocean or i think i'd be entirely miserable with the climate and surroundings. there's just something to be said for wildflowers growing along the highway so you have something to look at that's beautiful while you sit in traffic.



what's you favorite holiday memory? mine is from when i was 3 or 4..my next door neighbors the Dibley's dressed up as mr. and mrs. claus and came and woke me up on christmas eve night and asked me what i wanted under the tree for christmas, and of course that;s what i found the next day, since my mom had been listening for the months preceeding december. i remember laying in bed that night after they left totally blown away that santa would have paused in his busy night to come sit on the edge of my bed and tell me what a good girl he thought i was and how happy it made him that i listened to my mom and didn't fight with my brother. good stuff.
