Wow:
Either the fans of the show have decided to amp up the drama in the closing weeks or the dreaded popularity curse has befallen another dancer. James Brown has left the building. So odd, after all the talk about how dude didn't have enough personality. It was pretty much oozing out of him on Thursday night, but it just wasn't enough. The other shocker: he's a little ghetto. The "Why did you get into dance segments" weren't so shocking for some, but it was a bit of surprise to see that goody-two-shoes Will used to wear a do-rag.
On a less surprising note: Goodbye, Tits. Your loss wasn't as great as Assington, but it's still sad to see them...ahem...you go (Sorry, the wife is out of town, so I'm a little lonely). You danced with heart these last few weeks, I'll give you that.
Also, Twitch in the bottom 2, huh? Really? And he did not take it well. Okay, whatever America. I mean, I like Mark as well, but there were some rather weak outings from him this week. Ah well, it's always nice to see a surprise in the top 6.
She keeps at it. As Nigel said, she's never been in a routine I haven't enjoyed. And she showed more flashes of personality and confidence than ever before. The Amy Winehouse look in the Mia Micheals piece was a fun little touch as well. Also, that piece was totally awesome.
Girl fucking stepped it up this week. She was so sharp in her footwork it was impressive. And her dresses seem to get smaller and smaller every week, which I'm certainly not complaining about. And you all know I'm not happy about her being in the bottom 2. That spot should have been reserved for:
One of the most annoying contestants ever. Sure, she's got talent. Sure, she can wear an outfit. Sure, she...we'll that's all I've got. I really, really hope she gets cut next week, because I'm so sick of looking at her face.
The dance routines were so strong this week. It's great to see the talent level rise as the lesser dancers get whittled away. And having "Hey Mickey!" judging was...interesting. I swear, if she said "street" on more time was I going to jump into the TV and throttle her. I mean, I'm no Rick Mahorn, but I think I could take her (extra points if you have any idea what that refers to).
Getting close, folks. Getting close...

A video was made, but I haven't seen it since that particular year of high school. No fancy Youtube clips for me.

I kind of miss being in school. My post secondary school experiences were pretty good for the most part. But I am certainly not very fond of the administrivia or of the more mundane details of academic life.
