Summer was now in full swing and festival season started with Isle of Wight festival which was very last minute to see another great mate on the Island. Only a week or two later and I was in Glastonbury for my 8th year. The year of the Quag. For me it was the muddiest year I've seen but that didn't get in the way of an incredible weekend with some old and special friends and making a few new ones in the process.
Straight after id recovered from nearly a week in Glastonbury i had two big weddings to go to, the first was a friend i made at my first Glastonbury in 2008 so i was especially touched that we had become such good friends that i would be invited to her wedding. The next was one of my best friends and it was an incredible day seeing him, his gf and their little boy.
The end of the summer finished off with another small festival in Southsea called Victorious
Early august i started seeing girl from Bournemouth, the first girl in a really long time that I’ve been excited about. Since then we’ve been on some pretty decent trips and spent a lot of time really getting to know each other. So far we’ve spent a weekend sailing in the Solent and a long weekend in Bruges which was all kinds of fun.
The year is not quite out yet. My best mate has just left on a round the world sailing trip and me and one of my housemates are considering getting a smaller place for just the two of us so things are just constantly moving and changing which is incredible considering how i felt about myself and about my life a yer ago. My 30's are proving to be some of the most personally enlightening that i have experienced. It feels like I'm living the life that i want to live instead of doing whats expected, what I'm told that i have to do.
Anyway, i've rambled on for an age and i thank you if you've stuck with it.
