Scott Adams (writer of Dilbert and all round incredibly witty chap) has started writing a blog...that in itself is not an essentially noteworthy fact (unless you like Scott Adams of course) as *everyone* has a blog...myself included. What *is* noteworthy though is the note he sent out to DNRC members illustrating the thought process of the potential blogger...
1 - The world sure needs more of ME.
2 - Maybe i'll shout more often so that people nearby can experience the joy of knowing my thoughts.
3 - No, wait, shouting looks crazy.
4 - I know - i'll write down my daily thoughts and badger people to read them.
5 - If only there was a description for this process that doesn't involve the words egomaniac or unnecessary.
6 - What? It's called a blog? I'm there!
Now i'm not going to say something so hackneyed as "it's funny because it's true" or anything here but...no wait, yes I am...it's funny because it's true...HA!
And, shame upon shame, when I first started writing my blog a couple of years ago I actually *did* badger people to read it , which seemed perfectly acceptable at the time but christ, looking back on it now, the very thought makes me cringe! Just one of the more annoying of my distinctly "Leo" character traits making itself felt I suppose.

I wanted people to read it, but not people I actually knew. Ah, the wonders of the internet!
The Blues Brothers is such a great film...my dad, brother and I used to dance in front of the tv when the songs came on
