I asked my husband the other day why it seemed like there was always something wrong with me.
He replied with "Well, you have a few medical issues..."
My Medical Issues:
Migraines
Severe Arthritis of the knee
Asthma
Severe food allergies
>all nuts (especially hazelnuts and peanuts)
>specific raw fruits and veggies (yes I can eat them cooked)
>all melons, cooked or raw
>Niacin (google niacin flush, and times it by 100)
Chronic neck pain from an old injury that was never taken care of
Carpal Tunnel
Horrible teeth
Diet restrictions from stomach surgery over 10 years ago
>Can't eat sausage (except pepperoni for some reason)
>Can't eat very much sugar or I get what's called a "sugar dump" where my body puts all of it's efforts to get the sugar out ASAP making my heart race, my breathing to slow and I start to sweat profusely until it's over, then I pass out from exhaustion)
>Can't eat more than a specific amount otherwise I get sick and end up vomiting. (It used to be a really small amount, but since it was caused by my weight loss surgery, and I've gained back some of the weight, figure it's about the equivalent to 2 medium slices of pizza)
>Can't drink milk, but I'm not exactly lactose intolerant...
I. AM. SO. WEIRD.
On a weird side-note, I ordered new wrist splints for my Carpal Tunnel on Amazon cuz they were way cheaper than at the drug store...and they're the exact same in every way except one is a lefty and one is a righty...and they're sending them separately. What the eff Amazon??
