I just took a vicodin. I've been taking Imitrex for 3 days. If this doesn't help, I may roll into a ball and die.

Don't drink alcohol. Dehydration of any level just makes it worse. If it doesn't break by tomorrow you should go to a doctor for an abortive treatment. Toradol or Demerol shot with Phenergan. Sometimes they'll start you with Benadryl to help the meds work better... but a migraine that lasts more than 72 hours is dangerous. Try something like a Patient First or Minute Clinic to avoid ER costs. Ice packs on the back of your neck help as well... especially if you can't just stay in the dark. Try a hot bath with an ice pack on at the same time. Sometimes the temperature variance helps.

Imitrex is an early abortive medication... if you catch it early enough it will help, but you shouldn't take it over several days. Another thing to try... vicodin and acetaminophen and Advil (if you aren't allergic to NSAIDS.) They each hit differen pain receptors. Drink lots and lots of water.
