Yeah, so I haven't written on here in a long time, but it's finals time, so forgive me. Today, I took a final for my intro to US politics course at 7:30 in the goddamn morning. Anytime I have to head to a class before the goddamn sun comes up it's not a good way to start the day. I do think I aced the final though, so I guess I can forgive the school.
I just went to see King Kong, since I have a day of nothing to do other than that god-awful final. I have one thing to say entirely not related to the film itself. I abhor the death penalty and think that it's the worst thing ever, BUT if you bring a child under the age of 5 to a movie theatre that I am in, you deserve to die. You're pushing it by bringing a child under the age of 10, but I might let you slide. For safety's sake let's just say that no children under the age of 14 are allowed in theatres that I'm at. This way I don't give you dirty looks and you don't say dumb shit like "He's just a kid" after I tell him to sit down and shut up.
Past that, the movie was very good. I enjoy a good popcorn flick every once and awhile and this definitely qualifies as such. I've also in recent weeks seen Chronicles of Narnia(OK), Walk the Line(Very Good), and Rent(Absolutely fabulous, but I'm biased).
Wish me luck, I have two more finals before my first semester of my second college career is over. Of course, since I'm doing academic forgiveness after this semester, I will soon be at the point when I won't have to explain away an abysmally low GPA(1.33) because I will probably be making some sort of Dean's list or some such nonsense with my GPA this semester(between 3.6-4.0 depending on two finals).
Until next time, as always, much love.
