well... the family invasion has begun, and i've successfully managed to not be in the house for more than 35 minutes at a time. (not counting sleeping time - one doesn't have to explain how a thermostat works while they're asleep, thank god). the next wave arrives this weekend, which i've managed to negotiate an exit visa to go visit my dad's side of the family (in a cabin far, far away from this madness)...
in other news, i'm suffering from a form of survivor's guilt... nothin terrible, but a nagging little shadow that follows me around from time to time.
the good news is, though, that i am quite happy and have been smiling for almost 5 weeks straight.

keep smiling sweet boy. take care.
I've managed to negotiate an exit visa too, to sit here and not even think about the holidays. Which, again strangely enough, makes me very happy.
