It's been an interesting couple of days.
I went out to my car, started her up and noticed the gas light was on. I immediately call the boyfriend because he was the last one to use the car. He apologises and tells me to get gas right away as he drove her for quite some time with the gas light on. I drive to the gas station, pull up to the pump and read the sign that states THEY ARE OUT OF GAS. WTF??? A gas station without gas? I then proceed to drive to another station, all the while praying that Yuki (my car) doesn't run empty. I manage to get there, and fill up the tank. I then drive to the post office to pick up a parcel. I show them the letter which says it's the final notice to pick up the package when they reply, they've already sent it back! "What? Why? How come I only got a final notice, I didn't get the first or second warning and I just recieved it yesterday?" They reply, that they're sorry but I have to call the customer service number to get them to re-send the parcel.
I then go to the grocery store. After getting all of my items and loading them in the car, I hop in and start her up. Yuki is a manual. I've been having some difficulty getting her into reverse over the last month or so but I found that releasing the clutch and trying again will usually work. I tried about twenty times and she would not go into reverse. Of course I was parked in front of a building and I had no choice but to back out of the spot. Finally, I ended up asking a few people to help push my car out of the spot. Luckily they were nice and they helped me out.
LAter that night, the boyfriend and I go out for dinner. While we're outside having a smoke we start talking about our relationship. I'm not going to go into the details but we ended up breaking up and it was completely mutual. We were able to sit down and enjoy the rest of our dinner together and we agreed to be friends.
I feel so relieved that this has happened. The relationship wasn't right for either one of us and nowwe're both free! YEAH!!!!
