I know EXACTLY what you mean! I am 20,000 in debt with student loans from my undergrad alone. AND can't even make $12.00 an hour in my field without a Masters. SO I am stuck racking up more and more debt and hoping it will all pay off. One way to look at it is this- some people buy a car, you bought yourself an education.... which is a much better investment in the long run then a car. Good luck with the $122K.
