It is the end of the year. The hugs have been tallied. Time to find out what the total hug count for 2010. Not to spoil anything, the month didn't start out well, but it was a great push to the finish.

Hug 336: December 11, 7 PM-ish: Male, early 40s
This was at my office Christmas holiday party. I knew with a bunch of drunk people and being the holiday season, I could get a lot of hugs tonight from co-workers. About 10 minutes from the start of the party, I got my first "victim". This co-worker is a guy is always happy and chipper at work. I am going to call him Uncle Happy Pants, or UHP for short. It started out with him just passing by me on his way to the open bar. He offering his hand for a shake, but counter offered him a hug. He took the hug in stead.
Hug 337: December 11, 7 PM-ish: Male, late 40s
My next "victim" of the night came from out Office Manager, aka OM. He too was passing by on his way to the bar. He didn't offer anything, but I offered him a hug. I got him too.
Hug 338: December 11, 7 PM-ish: Male, mid 30s
I guess stand between the entrance to the venue and the open bar is a prime location to run into people and this is where I got this hug. My next "victim" came from a co-worker who is very loud. Well, there is actually two loud co-workers that sit next to each other. I sit across the office from these two and I can still hear most of the conversations. This co-worker will get the name of Loud Co-worker 1, or LC1. Just like the previous on, I offered a hug and it was taken.

This one comes from Chains. When she got to the party, I noticed her walking in. She was wearing a very nice black dress. She was looking very pretty. After she hung up her coat, I got a hug from her. Then she went to mingle with others.

I was standing on my own away from the door here by myself, because I needed a little break from all the people. Chains and another co-worker, which I will call the Filipino Hockey Player, or FHP. This comes from another co-worker. In fact all the hugs from tonight come from co-workers. This co-worker I see very rarely, mostly when he is playing Street Fighter in the Xbox conference room. I will call this guy Street Fighter Co-worker, or SFC. Like most hugs this night, this started with him offering a handshake and me countering with a hug offer. I got my hug.

I was walking around mingling with people when I ran into a co-worker that recently got rehired. I will call this guy Bri Bri Lie Lie. When I found him, I offered him a hug. He didn't seem to want to take it, so I forced it on him. I almost made him spill his wine, but he got hugged.

This hug comes from a co-worker which I will call AK47. Long story short, he was an intern and when he left his farewell email said that he wanted to come back with AK47 and have some fun. He was talking about shooting people in a video game, but it didn't read like that. AK47 just got to the party and walked up to me, Bri Bri Lie Lie and his girlfriend. I offered him a hug, he took it without question.

Bri Bri Lie Lie asked about the hugs. I told him about my hug count. He asked if I had a goal, which I told him it was just to beat last year's count. I did that way back in July. AK47 offered me a hug as a reward. I had to take it.

Then AK47 offered another hug right after the last one. I had to take it.

This co-worker's, which I will call Mello, comes from when he just got to the party. Standing by the entrance is a key to greeting people, with hugs.

Again, this hug comes from standing by the entrance and from a co-worker I will call Duran Duran.
Hug 354: December 11, 11PM-ish: Female, late 20s
The party went on that night. There were games played. One of which my table won by a long shot. It was the trivia/name that Christmas coral from a picture quiz. Totally won this game. The appetizers were awesome. Mini burgers, pull port sandwiches, cheese things. Very good. Dinner was, interesting. The soup had curdled cheese and was a little spicy. The salad I didn't even touch because it look not so good. The main course was good. I had the chicken. The desert was awesome! It was a chocolate mousse with some crunchy chocolate cookie served with some mint ice cream. I had mine and the other half of co-worker's girlfriend's who was sitting across from me. There was a dance game where the couple had to stand on a newspaper page. After each round the newspaper page was folded in half. If you were not on the page when the music stopped you were out. My partner didn't want to go that far into the game, so we were both off the page in the first round. After all that, there was a picture taken. The Dictator was beside me. I put my arm around her, and she did the same creating a side hug in the picture.

Chains won a ski pass she won in a draw. She likes to snowboard, so it was a good prize to win for her. During the night she lost the pass, not once, but twice. The second time she lost it, I gave her a sympathy hug. Or was it a chance to hug a hot woman? Whatever.

This hug comes from an intern. There were two interns at work that look and act very similar, they were on the same team and sat next to each other. People got them confused all the time. We called them the Twinterns. So Twintern 1 got a hug from me when he was leaving the party.

There was a dance at the party too. I was coaxed out on the dance floor a bunch of times. This one comes from Duran Duran, who came to my table, took my hand and dragged me to the dance floor, where we danced. This hug comes from the end of the night when Duran Duran was leaving.

The OM came by and asked a guest who he was. He then looked at me and I said my name was Jesus. I shook his hand. He said he knew who I was and the shake turned into a bro hug.

After the party, Filipino Hockey Player, Twintern 2, some other people and I went back to Chains place for drinks. I petted her dog most of the time I was there. I was falling asleep and had to take Filipino and Twintern 2 home. When I left Chains place, I got a hug.

Ice Queen was having a Xmas tea party at her place. When I got to her palace I was able to sneak in, take off my shoes and be standing in her kitchen before anyone spotted me. I am like a ninja, a hug ninja. I got a hug from her. I attempted to let go, but she held on because I was still cold from being outside.

This one was a group hug. A friend of Crushinator and roommate, which I am sure I given a hug to at some point but I can't find his nickname, was leaving to go back to Vancouver the following day. He got a group hug with me, Ice Queen and Crushinator.

It was a brother's birthday. We were taking him out for brunch. After driving to my parent's place, my dad drove me, my mother and bro to the restaurant. I got a hug from my mother while in the parking lot because we didn't have time when we got to my parent's home.

We were waiting in the restaurant for a table when my aunt Suse arrived. I got a hug from her.

Finally get a call from my brother to come pick him up. We finally get my parents place after picking up some supplies, aka Alcohol for my brother, tape for my mother, I get a hug from my mother.

Because of this total, next year I am going to set the hug count goal to be 400. I think I can do it.
On top of that goal I will add 2 others; hug 50 different people and have a 5 day hug streak. I think the former is quite easy, the latter not so much. My best has to be only 3 days. Stringing 5 days will be tough.
Also I am looking at sites to do a more public hug blog for friend and family that I don't want to let them know about SG. You guys will still get the monthly ones, but when I find a site I like, I will post the link for y'all to follow.
