Well, i've been a vegetarian for five days now. It's not a permanent thing (25 days left), but i just wanted to give my body a little cleanup. I originally was going to do one of those cleanses with the pills, but i feel like those would be a little harsh for a n00b like myself. I figure just going veggie for a month would have a similar effect without sending me into shock like it almost did to a friend of mine.
It's been interesting. I haven't been CRAVING meat, but i do miss it. I'll have to make sure i tread lightly when the month is over, and not binge on it. The effects this has been having on my body so far... nothing bad, certainly, i've just been pooping like whoa. Seems like every four hours it's time to take a seat. (i can hear you know: "Whoa! TMI, dude!")
I'm just trying to get myself back into shape this year and this is a good start i'd say. Next step is to start exercising again. I think i'll start with stretching and really basic kung fu stuff like stances and breathing. Hmm... yeah... that sounds like a good plan for the 30 days after this.
