And so, it's Valentines' Day. In years past, this has been a big deal for me and this year it kinda would be too, except for the fact that my girlfriend doesn't get into it, like at all. She didn't even want a card... who'da thunk that?
Anyway, this is one of the first V-days in a long time where i've even been in a relationship, and it feels... well, i dunno if it's really different or what. The day itself will pass by like any other day (she and i are doing stuff this weekend ), but i'm not alone this time. Instead of going to work and seeing all the happy couples there and getting all wistful over what i don't have, i'll just be thinking about her. THAT feels very different and good. Well, the missing her sucks, but having things to look forward to is really great. And in that way, more than before, given the events of this past weekend *rawr*. Heh... i guess that's one way in which this V-day is different: "v" only stands for Valentine this time around.
Anyway, Happy Valentine's Day to everybody out there; i hope you all get lots of good lovin' and if not that, then at least lots of cards and candy.
Oh, and babe... sorry about the elbow... again...
