I just realized that it is September 11th.
It's been four whole years since that horrid morning when our lives were forever changed.
I could spout on about the tragedy and horror, about the changes that day have wreaked upon our world.
But I won't.
I simply want to say to the souls of those who perished and to all those affected by their deaths:
You will never be forgotten. You are all heroes in our hearts. I pray that you all have found peace in solace in these past years.
And especially to those brave men and women who voluntarily risked and gave their lives so that others might live:
You are what we as humans strive to be. You're bravery, courage and valor will forever render us proud as we recall your unselfish deeds. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for showing us the best side of humanity on a day that was darkened by the worst.
Again, you will never be forgotten.
