I know I have posted some pretty bad news lately on Acacia. Today I received some great news. She was off the breathing machine for 6 hours breathing on HER OWN. This is just fucking amazing. Two days ago I thought we were going to lose her and now she was able to breath on her own for a quarter of a day. There is a little light at the end of the tunnel. Perhaps she will make it. She is such an amazing little girl. She might be 16, but she is just a little girl.

Some of you keep asking me about the National Novel Writing Month. This is not a contest to write Moby Dick. This is a contest of just pure writing. You can write the most god-awful long winded prose, as I plan to do. The goal is just to get or pass 50,000 words in one month. So if you are up for it, then try.

My name on there is InnocentSid, so if you sign up "buddy me." I have a start and an ending. I just need 48,000 words in between. I am assuming I can write 1,000 words for each the beginning and the end.

For those of you in New York City or nearby areas, I will be in town November 15th to the 17th for a business trip. I have no plans for the nights of the 15th or 16th. I have not told my family I am in town, so if you want to hang out let me know. I will buy the drinks.
