alright, so this day has gone perfectly...swimmingly...
my mother-in-law had my son over for a visit for the past two nights...when he left here, he had a small case of the sniffles...i left ADAMANT instructions to call me if he got any worse so i could come and get him...i get to their house this AM and he has a fever, MAJOR sniffles (i've never seen so much snot in my LIFE), a cough, and a fever...i understand that back in the day, it would have been considered manageable...which it is...but that is MYYYYY decision to make. Not hers. DRIVES ME BONKERS!! how hard is it to follow a well-laid out plan of instruction?! my poor wubba...he looked drugged he was so out of it! i almost died. If you are a mother, you get it. Seeing your baby hurting makes your uterus feel likes its going to hit the floor.
to make it worse, on my way over there..some asshole kid almost runs into me while i was at the gas station getting cigarettes. Asshat that I am, I try to get out of the way by pivoting towards my car. and KABLOOWIE! there goes my bad knee and i am now a heap on the ground ready to grab this douche by ear and show him who God is...he only got off because he looked like he felt really badly about it and helped me up etc. All I said was, "growing up means paying fucking ATTENTION!!"
but enough of that nonsense...i actually let it roll off my shoulders today, which is an improvement to say the least.
I hope that everyone is doing well...my set is still pending, so i'm getting awfully nervous here...without SG yesterday i didn't know what to do with myself. At least the hubby and i got to spend a delightful morning in bed together...that ended in me spilling my Monster energy drink alllll over the bed...that stuff doesn't smell so good when it dries
so i had to change the sheets and febreze the shit out of my bed...
oh well, enough mindless blather...go give Merlowe some lovin' people!
