Hey, YOU! Thanks for the books!! Your name and address looked familiar, but lamely, I can't place them now because my 8 1/2-week old jungle kitten tore the box up along with the invoice, I think, although it may be floating around somewhere. I will call or write if it turns up. If you're wondering what I'm talking about, someone sent me 2 books from my wishlist (can't display the person's full name here).
Btw, Nakima (correct sp.) is not using the litter box any more (mainly for one function), and I don't know why. Kitty competition? Neurotically possessive Isis really *doesn't* like the li'l tyke, and he's trying his catdamned best to claim me. He's a Leo (Aug.19), and so is she (July 28).
The 2nd book party for Paying For It took place at Good Vibrations in Berkeley, and featured a panel instead of readings. Mistress Morgana, Carol Queen and some of my other co-authors answered questions, as did a "john" who happens to be a Nobel Prize winner in the field of artificial intelligence. (This was not a social commentary, really! )

Yeah, something about cats and boxes. Makes you wonder what they played with in the wild before boxes were invented.
