Selket came home Monday evening and she's SO happy. Every time I go near her she wobbles to her feet and turns around and around stumbling (NOT good for her leg) and the jungle cat ridge on her back rises with excitement. She has to stay in a dog crate for 12 weeks so she doesn't jump on anything. Sometimes I go in there with her. I can also hold her on my lap if she doesn't struggle or get antsy. I've got to medicate her 5 times a day. I REALLY need catsitters! And someone to help me clean the apt. I placed the jungle boys in foster care, it was so sad. I'm going to visit them tomorrow.
So thanks to the generous ones who donated $ to Selket's Paypal account. I hope you know how much this means to us. The bills keep coming - every checkup, every bandage change, every X-ray costs $$$. Our bills will be nearly 6K when all is said and done. (But she has a pink bandage with purple hearts and she gets to be high on painkillers every 8 hours, so there's a silver spotted furry lining.)
