After 3 months of not really having any work, especially not work that I was interested in doing, I now have one permanent job that I love and one temp job that I at least find interesting.

I've been fascinated with bartending since I was a kid, and now I finally am one. It's not quite] as glamorous as my 13 year old mind made it out to be, but it is definitely my favorite job ever. The regulars at my bar are nice and tip pretty well, so that's pretty rad.

My other job is not as exciting, but it involves internet research, which I am pretty fucking good at, and it's only 2-3 days a week.

Some things may start happening soon with my writing career as well, which I don't want to jinx by talking about.

It's amazing how sometimes changing one thing in your life makes all the other lame shit change too.

The only thing I'm not stoked on right now is that I don't see my friends very much. I see my die hard best friends fairly regularly, but you know how you have some people that you like a lot, but only see when you're both at the same social event. I never see those people anymore and that's kind of a bummer. I am making some new friends in Marin but old friends are not replaceable.
