13,000 dollars is a lot of food,
Oi! How amazing was this past weeked (if you are from the GTA)?
On Sunday (I was feeling a little bit shitty on Saturday, though I ended up watching hours of DragonBall Z, and that made me feel better. Don't laugh, I have some sick obesession with that show, those movies, and the video games assocaited with the lisence), I woke up at noon, sat around and drank my coffee out on the balcony until 2 PM, then went out dirt shopping! I got some decent quality top soil, and spent the rest of the daylight hours seeding, watering, laying down soil, watering, then lightly fertilizing (I know, I shouldn't seed and fertilze on the same day, but I'm really careful about the volume of fertilizer I put down, and keep it all nice and wet so it doesn't burn, and within a week, I'll have a nice new crop of healthy grass growing).
Hopefully, I can save the lawn 'round here completely this year.
I then finished off the remainder of the day sitting out on the balcony having myself a beer and a smoke as the sun set.
Perfect. Spring. Day.
Would only be better if I had a girl, but can't have it all, right? I'll settle for some satisfying manual labour and gettin' all dirty (the greatest joy of yard maintenence if you ask me).
Here's what I did!

Here's what I look like right now!

Astounding how much I look EXACTLY the same as always. I'm not sure I could do anything that would make me look measurable different than that picture right there. Weird.
Here's lazy little rats!

Oh, and I've decided I'm going to exploit my parents new found wealth (I miss you, Grandma), and go back to school. I kinda fucked everything up last time around, so I'm gonna do things right this time. I've accepted an offer of admission from Durham college (ew, I have to move to Oshawa, but I love the concept of the program) to learn how to calibrate/maintain medical equipment. Add the articulation agreement that'll give me a degree, and I'm gold! It'll be a few years away from having a real job, but fuck it. I never take chances on stuff. This isn't really my first choice, but the Michener Institute won't get back to me until later on this week or maybe even next week, and I had to accept this before the first. I'm still holding out for Michener, because I'd love to spend the rest of my life playing with blood, so we'll see. We'll just wait 'n see.
And yeah, I'm not really exploiting my parents wealth. I'll pay for everything myself. I'll just a really old, poor student. Lucky me!
Finally, Ayane makes me think dirty, dirty thoughts. Mmmmm... Ayane
