Oi,
So my car's gettin' on in years. It's a '97 Saturn, got a few kilometers on it, it's a little banged up (no accidents, just wear and tear) and the transmission's hurtin' a little. One should not feel every gear shift in an automatic car, me thinks. Mm hm.
So, I went out today and test drove a wee bit, and decided I'm gonna pick up 2007 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SL. Electronic automatic transmission, electronic braking and steering system (VERY smooth), 6.0 L per 100 km (highway) and 8.0 L per 100 km (city), with the optional sunroof option.
A reasonably priced vehicle with good fuel mileage and plenty of storage space, plus a nice, smooth ride.
I think I'm gonna like it.
Grrrr,
J.R.
P.S. I bought myself a laptop this week. Intel Duo Pentium processor, 2 Gb RAM, 200 Gb hard drive, 256 Mb Nvidia graphics card, HDMI/VGA/S video out, and a 19" Widescreen monitor.
It's digustingly excessive, and WAY more than I could ever use, but I'm clearly in a money spending mood!

There is certainly nothing wrong with spending a bit of money on yourself. I haven't really done much of that over the past few months, but it's a nice feeling to do it every now and again.
Good car choice, too. My current ride ('96 Suzuki Sidekick) is still in good shape, but I have been looking around. I will have to keep the Sentra in mind.
