Yesterday was the big day. Kristyna and I attended the Lacuna Coil acoustic pre-show at Grandma's Music in Albuquerque. We arrived there about 3.5 hours early and just sat in the store. It was a long ass wait as they played jazz music and neither of us are into that genre. Still, it was worth it. Lacuna Coil only performed three songs though: Within Me, Heaven's A Lie, and Closer. I wish they would have performed a longer set but that is OK. Scabbia rocked the cleavage though and the 4 band members participating in the acoustic set signed autographs afterwards. Neither of us won the acoustic guitar though, some fat fuck won instead.
We then went to the concert and saw the concert. Beneath The Sky (a Cincinnati metal band whom I have seen before) opened and was followed by Stolen Babies, then Shadows Fall came on and Lacuna Coil closed. Both Lacuna Coil and Shadows Fall played one hour sets while Beneath The Sky played for about 30 minutes and Stolen Babies put on a 45 minute set. I was surprised by Stolen Babies, their singer/accordion was hot and she could scream/sing. Shadows Fall's set was pretty good, I have been a fan of them for a while. Lacuna Coil was even better though (I probably would have said the same thing about Shadows Fall if they were closing). All in all, the trip was worth the 3.5 hour drive over, 3.5 hour wait, and 3.5 hour dive back (what's with the 3.5 hours?).
The next concerts I plan on attending are Tool in Las Cruces (May 5th), Ozzfest 2007 in Albuquerque (July 26th), and The Family Values Tour 2007 (August 25th, one day before my b-day). I also plan on seeing the Slayer/Marilyn Manson concert but they haven't posted the dates for that yet.

I'm not really a Lacuna Coil fan. Not tht they're bad or anything, I just haven't really ever listened to them.
Manson's manager showed me the dates about a month and a half ago and everytime I talk to Manson now i get mad at him because he's not coming here.
