Eight days and I'm done with work. In fifteen days I should have the camper shell for my truck (keep forgetting to order the damn thing), so in like twenty days I should be in Kent, WA.
I was planning on paying rent for my apartment and staying here through when I decided to leave, but I keep forgetting, and now it's so late that if I do the office girl will just keep hounding me for the late fees. However, if I don't pay she'll just post an eviction notice on me and leave me alone. This'll fuck up my credit a little, but also it'll save me five hundred bucks, so it's a trade off.
I think I'm gonna go take a drive out into the countryside. In about forty-five minutes my storage unit will be open (they lock the facilty at night) so I can pick up my FOR RENT signs and get some work done while I'm at it.
"Sideways" is a tremendous fucking movie. If you haven't seen it, don't rent it, just buy it, cause you'll end up buying it anyways.
Couldn't find the Minnie Driver CD today at Wal Mart. Fucking Wal Mart. The one time I actually go there, and they don't have any of the shit I wanted to buy. Any ways, that CD sounds pretty bad ass. I keep hearing little bits of it here and there and it sounds damn worth buying. Jeez, I have such eclectic taste - as I write about buying a Minnie Driver CD, I'm sitting here jamming out to old school Korn at full volume (gotta love their first album).
Well, I think I'm gonna shower up and get dressed. Might do a little fishing while I'm out that part of the county - it's only like five minutes out of the way to get to my beloved lake. Hell, if I swing by HEB first I can seriously increase my chances of catching something (assuming they have fresh shrimp in stock).
Oh, and I've decided that before I go, I'm going to spend a solid week just taking pictures of all the places in San Antonio and Boerne that have been such big parts of my life; the Nature Center, the 474 bridge, my Uncle's ranch, downtown SA, the lakes, et cetera.
