If anyone out there loves me, they will buy me this car. Maybe in a few years I can afford it myself, but rest assured that when I can, I'll fucking buy one. 500hp, good gas mileage, sexy styling, and all for under $52k! This thing will spank a Ferrari and a Lamborghini, together, and make them BOTH it's bitch, and do it for a fraction of the price. Plus Chevy's are cheaper to work on and last longer (Ferrari/Lambos might have more technology and designing and whatnot going into them, as they make as much, if not more, power with smaller engines - but Chevys are built to be daily driven, not garaged 7/8ths of the year, so they last a lot longer).
Went fishing with my secret love today.
Originally planned to just drive out by the lake and look at something, but ended up fishing for three hours and not catching anything and enjoying every minute of it. Never even went by the place I was supposed to go by, despite having needed to go by it for a week now. Fuck it, who cares.
Also played a few holes of golf today. Almost killed some golfers by accident, but it's all good. They didn't know it was me hitting balls right at them (and I didn't know it until much later in the day!
). Three days of practice after ten years of not playing and the ball is perfectly straight and my distance is only off by about 40 yards on my driver. Pretty fuckin' good if you ask me. I forgot how much those fuckers charge for golf clubs! A very good to top of the line driver costs in the neighborhood of $350-$400 on base. Can't imagine what they cost off base! 
Oh, and I'm getting my military base sticker for my truck, so I can have full access to every military base in the country for the next two months. Will only use it for the one, but it's nice to have nonetheless. Especially since the driving range and resort quality golf course is only two miles from my house.
The funny thing is I don't even like golf, it's just something to do. Am spending as much time with my old man as I can until he leaves next week. After he leaves, I won't see him again until I leave, and then for only a day or two. After that, it's only going to be during his visits up to Seattle. Gonna be weird, I've never lived so far away from my old man for more then a month or two at a time.
Well, it's much too early in the morning to not be asleep, so I'm going to see if I can rectify the situation with a brief nap.

After I come back from Cancun , I may accept a position at an aerospace company here in Connecticut , which means no more commuting to NYC on a daily basis and no longer having a need for a car with good fuel economy or my daily gumball rally . It's allmost 70 out and the sun is shining and they are stocking the trout stream that runs through my yard today , so when I start to divert some water into my pond in a couple of weeks " I still need to place stucture and stuff " I'll score some free trout without using a casting net
