Drama on the home front. My step mom just spent ten minutes, straight, knocking on my front door and calling all my phones to inform me that my biggest client was trying to get a hold of me (he happens to be a good friend of hers). I only knew it was here for three or four minutes, and was hoping she'd go away, but she didn't. See, I know she was trying to do a nice thing, and with anyone else I'd be grateful, but with her it means that when I go by her house later tonight or tomorrow to get a work order from someone else, she's going to bitch me out about "sleeping in" and "my responsibilities" and all that shit. The truth is, everyone knows I sleep in, and it's not a fucking problem with anyone but her. I sleep in so that when 5:00PM rolls around, I can go take care of a few appointments, get something to eat, and still have energy to fit in a few more appointments. Whereas if I was sleeping a normal schedule, come 5:00PM all I'd want to do was get some food and then go to sleep in a few hours.
Ugh. I have become very conscious of my cell phone use. Apparently my highly lauded family plan with roll over (which EVERYONE told me had roll over, on MANY occasions before I signed on) doesn't fucking have roll over. How I keep under 500 minutes a month, I'll never understand, cause I use my cell phone constantly, and even get into a few really long conversations a month with a few people. Anyways, this month was the first time I went over, by like $140 bucks. Not so bad, I keep hearing people running over by several hundred, or more, bucks - so I can live with that. Believe it or not, but I'm a 22 year old cell phone user, and this is the first time I've ever run over on my minutes. Course, I've only had a cell phone for about a year now. Shit, my now 14 year old cousin had a cell phone when she was like 10, and I still didn't have one (though I did have a beeper when I was a, ahem, street pharmacist ).
I think I'm gonna go to the dump today. Not for fun, but for work . I usually charge $25.00 just to drive over there (not including tip fee), and the beauty is I just found one that's literally fifteen minutes, if that, away from where I need to be at one o' clock.
Oh, and I really need to start working out again. My heart's starting to get a little screwy on me. The first thing I need to do when I get to Seattle is join a 24 hour gym. I need to stop getting out of shape, then spending three months getting back into shape, then letting myself go for a year or two, then getting back in shape. That can't be much better for me then the constant weight gain/lose.
