If you didn't read my last post (I know, I update too much), I'm moving to Seattle (Kent to be specific) a LOT sooner then originally planned. Like, the second week of April, if not sooner.
How this came to be is a weird story. Originally I was going to wait until the summer and then go up for a month and try and find work while I was up there. I was going to wait until the end of school so I could renew my health insurance, but I kind of stopped going to school again, so I can't renew my insurance (need to be a student, long story), and I don't have the time for a FLEX schedule (half semester, full credits). Then my cousin lost her job just now and my Dad suggested that maybe she would want the business when I left, cause I was going to give it to him, but my cousin has a daughter and no money saved and is up to her eyeballs in debt. Makes sense. She knows how to do it and is, in fact, the one I fired when I took over the business. This means that she won't accept it from me cause she's stubborn and bullheaded (something she has no right to be with a child and such debt), but when I leave she'll take it from my Dad when she realizes her situation.
So if I go up now, I have health insurance for two more months - plenty of time to find a job, I hope.
Now I need to call the airline and see how much it'll cost to cancel my reservations, since it makes no sense to fly up to Kent for a week and waste $500 on tickets and probably that much on incidentals, when I'll be moving up there in a few weeks. I hope they just charge me $50 like they did to change the original reservations. If they won't refund me at least half the money, then I will be embarking on the stupidest vacation ever.
I was going to cancel my SG subscription for a while cause the brother I'm going to go live with has no internet. But I just found out my subscription renews tomorrow, so I'm fucked with that. Might as well just do the three month thing again. Which means I need to go reactivate the credit card SG is going to bill
Oh, before I go I am going to try and force my Grandpa to go on a guided catfishing trip with me. $250 for the full day and a guarantee of a lot of catfish. I might cough up the extra $50 for a full day TROPHY catfish trip, but there's never a guarantee of big catfish on a trophy trip, whereas there's always the possibility of a trophy catfish on a regular trip. We'll see. The hotels are going to cost as much as the trip, but I want to do one last big thing with him before I go. He's getting real depressed since my Grandma died, and I think he'd enjoy it, even though he's not much of a fisherman. My biggest worry is that he won't go cause he doesn't like leaving his dog behind, so I might have to talk my Aunt or one of her kids in staying at his house while he's gone. I know they'll do it if they are in town (the kids are all over the place, and she's the Director of a Nature Conservancy who spends more then half her time on the road giving lectures and fundraisers out of town).
Well, that's all for now. I'm getting pretty excited about all this.

The airlines suck even more when you miss your flight and want to buy a ticket on the next available flight , they basically add an extra zero to the price
