Jesus, last night was fucking horrible. The fever was only 103, and up to 104 at times, but it last 24 hours and in that time I drank maybe two pints of water cause A) I was too weak to get off the couch most of the time and B) when I did drink it made me have to fight not to vomit. It literally took me almost five minutes just to get up and off of the couch, and then another two or three minutes of leaning on the wall before I had the strength to walk to the sink or the bathroom. Around 4:30am, with a handful of tylenol dissolving in my stomach and a bottle of water with it, I managed to drive to the gas station, but it was a fight. A trip that usually takes five minutes took the better part of half an hour (i shit you not).
I think I'm going to build a killer 383 stroker small block for the Malibu and then slowly, very slowly, build an insane Caddy big block. I spent the last few hours running the numbers and, while the money to power ratio is much better with the Caddy, I can still be rocking a high revving 500hp small block for a couple, three grand, bolt it directly into the Malibu, retain my stock power accessories (including A/C), then spent a year and five grand building an insane engine and transmission (probably do the tranny myself just for shits and giggles). In that year I could figure out how to do the conversion myself while retaining most, if not all, of the stock accessories. I can also build the Malibu up with suspension components, roll cage, body work, et cetera.

I *heart* Huckabees is fucking amazing. You must see this film. It gets a little silly, even annoying, at times, but the end result is well worth it. More then a few times I laughed so hard it hurt, but at the same time it's incredibly poignant, and if it doesn't make you think long and hard about life, then you need to put down that pipe, or bottle, and detox that mind of yours.
The Village. Much better then I thought, but a wholly different movie then I anticipated. All and all, very good. One question (spoiler!) that comes to mind is how did William Hurt's character, a supposedly intelligent univ. professor not realize that in a generation or two the kids will eventually end up venturing out of the village and into the woods once they realize that no one is getting killed by the things in the woods. Also, if the government was involved in this project, as is alluded to, how the fuck are they getting away with not filing some kind of progress reports or anything like that!? The government wouldn't do something like that out of the goodness of their hearts.
Watching Young Frankenstein right now. Must say, when she was skinny Terry Garr (spl?) was easily one of the ten sexiest, most beautiful leading ladies ever to set foot on a sound stage in Hollywood.
