Yeah, so I mentioned that I've been going through a lot of my old boxes searching for stuff and all, deciding what needs to get thrown and what to keep (note: have a decided lack of boxes!) and found a box of mostly empty CD cases. Guess how many empty UNDERTOW cases I have. Guess how many empty AENIMA cases I have.
Nope. Not even close.
I have over a dozen empty UNDERTOW cases (and can only find ONE CD) and a half dozen AENIMA cases (and can't find one CD).
I've been looking seriously at a few local 78-80 Malibu's. They're not the sexiest cars around, but they are cheap, you can shove a big block in 'em, and with a couple grand in suspension parts you can have a car that outperforms a Porsche in every way How fucking cool is that?
So here is the list of cars/trucks I'm interested in:
mid-70s C10 shortbed, single cab pickup.
mid-70s G-body (Malibu, Monte Carlo or Cutlass)
late-60s Chevelle/Nova
late-60s to 1980 F-body (Camaro/Trans Am)
In the end price will determine everything, but I am turning more away from the pickup. I want something unassuming like a G-body that'll haul ass and drive like it's on rails.
We shall see. Have more packing to do and a few burritos to pick up.

kreatinkaos:
I've seen those malibu's with a corvette drivetrain swapped in , the headers are a tight fit with a smallblock , so you will need some custom exhaust fabrication to clear the front suspension with that monster caddy motor
kreatinkaos:
Hey thanks , that caddy motor is real wide , kind of like a hemi , which is at least six inches wider than a bigblock chevy 454 , you might fit it in with log style hotrod exhaust manifolds like what Boyd Coddington uses on his cars . With that motor a little backpressure will be good cause they don't like to wind high anyways , it will make a killer sleeper for the streets
