Over the years I've learned never to believe a tenant when they call you with a maintenance problem. They always say they know what it is, and tell you how they tried to fix it, but in both instances they are either lying, or just wholly misinformed. If nothing else, they KNOW what it is not that's wrong with it (i.e. that they broke it), but more often then not that's exactly what it is. Course, who am I to complain? I make my living, for the most part, fixing their idiotic mistakes.
It's been just about a week since I talked to my ex. Well, a week tomorrow. I consider that pretty good progress, but somehow I sense that she is going to be calling me soon to "talk". This I do not want. Well, I do want it, but in the long run I know it's not what I want.
I had a very uncomfortable, dare I say painful, sleep last night. Did not enjoy it in the least. Hate it when that happens. probably it was because I slept in so fuckin' late. Whatcha gonna do?
Well, any ways, I need to go about fixing this problem at one of my rental properties. The lady swears that she didn't break it, but I know she did. And, of course, it's going to be one of those "impossible to fix in a day" problems that I'll spend the better part of a week on. I hate those.
