Wow, this new computer is actually faster then the old one. The connection is still pretty bad, and the NetZero software is as invasive as ever, but fuck it. Ten bucks a month.
I need nicotine. Badly. I've smoked the smokeable cigarettes I could dig out of my ash trays. Not proud of this, but it is what it is. Life long smokers will understand.
Am kind of tired. Took today off as well. All day today and yesterday all I did, all day, was sit around smoking cigarettes, fucking around on my new computer, and watching the same DVD over and over and over again. Well, "watching" is a strong road - it's on in the background.
In that vein, Morrowind is the coolest fucking videogame EVER! E-V-E-R! I have a few bugs in my version that still need working out. I bought it when it first came out, so I got the first version. Did the same thing with the expansion packs, so there are a lot of bugs to work out. All and all, it takes like three or four gigabytes to install this whole game! That's fucking insane!. My fucking operating system barely takes up that much room! Lol!
I can't wait until Elder Scroll's IV: Oblivion comes out (Morrowind is Elder Scroll's III). I am super stoked. Morrowind is just in a league all it's own. No game I know of is so close to real as this. I mean, yeah, it's a fantasy game and an RPG and what not, but it is wholly open ended. Sure, there is a main quest and whatnot, but I played the game for like two months one time without even working on that quest - I was just fucking around elsewhere. It's that cool. Oblivion should be just totally the next level. I was reading up on it today and the level of realism they are going to tackle is mind-boggling. The new AI they are using is the best out there - it's year's ahead of anything else, from what I'm told by my friends who know such things. Apparently the other characters in the game will truly be intelligent - they will react to their environment fully. They'll do stuff like go to church and decide to eat when they're hungry and shit like that.
I need some new CDs. Thinking Beck and....and....Ani DiFranco? Sounds like a winner no matter how you slice it. First, I do believe I will get dressed, finally (I've only been awake since eight this morning ) and go down to that chick's store and bum a cigarette off her. Maybe I should shave?
Oh, and I'll find out if I'm getting that house or not this weekend. Hope I find out soon, so I can start moving in soon. If I get word today I can be fully moved in by the first week of January, which means I won't have to fuck with the apartment manager too much. No matter, I'm still skipping out on my lease. Fuck 'em . If I'm getting my own place, I don't need to worry about a good rental history - besides, I'm a Property Manager - should I ever need to have a good rental history, I know how to change my records so they look legit.
